Our Volunteers

Sendial is a grocery shopping and home delivery service for Thrifty Foods customers who have been injured or have some other physical impediment to prevent them from easily accessing or independently shopping in our stores.

Over 600 dedicated and hard-working Sendial volunteers take orders and shop for fresh groceries, which are then delivered by our friendly Thrifty Foods drivers (for a nominal fee) to community members in need. If you know of someone who may benefit from this service, please apply today.

Each year, Thrifty Foods employees volunteer their time and energy to support local events like the 24 Hour Relay, BC Children's Hospital and Victoria's Symphony Splash. A big thank you to those who donate of your time and energy to raise funds for non-profits groups in our communities.
