Job Summary
Job Description:
Reporting to the Grocery Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining grocery sections in presentable conditions at all times in order to maximize sales and profitability. A high level of personal and team productivity must be maintained, while ensuring customer service is the number one priority.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
-Demonstrate a thorough knowledge and understanding of relevant Thrifty Foods policies and procedures
-Handle, organize, and rotate products in accordance with Thrifty Foods quality standards and Food Safety protocols
-Order and receive stock in accordance with Thrifty Foods inventory control procedures
-Stock shelves and arrange displays
-Shows attention to detail and willingness to learn.
-Perform required duties of the Floor Maintenance Program
-Assist Front End, when required
-Maintain stock of buggies and hand baskets
-Demonstrate growth in product knowledge and remain aware of product changes & seasonal requirements
-Assist customers by answering queries, packing orders, and offering car service
-Flexibility & availability for variety of shifts-nights & weekends
-Applicants must provide a minimum of two names for reference checks. One reference must be from a current Manager or Supervisor.
