Annual Sendial Luncheon

On December 14, over 380 Sendial Volunteers from our Victoria, Tsawwassen, Duncan and Mill Bay stores gathered at the Victoria Conference Centre for the Annual Christmas Luncheon. All of the volunteers who participate in the service for the community at large are dedicated to helping those in need. Thrifty Foods acknowledges volunteers who have been with the program for 10, 15, and 20 years of service with a recognition pin.

The highlights of the afternoon were the terrific performances by vocalist Ken Lavigne and his 9-piece orchestra. They entertained the volunteers with an eclectic mix of amazing songs. As an on-going tradition, the Greater Victoria Police Chorus performed with other various joyful holiday tunes.
